It was another week of Star Wars painting beginning with some Probes. Probes come in a variety of sizes ranging from large to relatively small. I have three different versions (large which I believe is Action Fleet; medium by Wizards of the Coast; and small by Skullforge). This week I painted two large ones and three small. With the probes done I painted four droids, all slightly modified. Three are 3d-printed and one is a modified Heroclix figure.
I next turned my attention to a tech or ground crew figure (Skullforge) and a power droid by Wizards of the Coast.
I finished the week with a group of spaceship crewpersons most of which are representations of the Nostromo crew from the movie Alien.

I had some time for painting this week and completed some Mandalorian warriors, a few space chickens, and a couple of droids.
With those done, I turned my attention to another broken Star Wars Ghost… the nose missing again. Because I’m working with random replacement parts, this repurpose job is slightly different from the previous one I did, but I like that. Repairs on the outer planets have to work with what they have got.

This week at the workbench was another week focused on 3d-printed Star Wars figures I purchased on Etsy. The one figure that is most interesting in terms of the workbench is the Blue Admiral. The figure I received was undersized in terms of height and head size, so I removed the lower portion of the figure and the head. I kept the midsection. I replaced the legs with ones that were slightly longer thus solving the height issue and found a replacement head more appropriate in size. Other than that, most of my workbench week was spent on painting.

I’m a big fan of the Cool Mini Or Not (CMON) The World of Smog figures. One that I really like is Phileas Fogg emerging from a mystical gateway followed by a tentacled monster of some sort. While the figure is great, it isn’t very practical so when I had the opportunity to get a second one cheap as part of a bulk lot, I got it and took the piece apart using the rear side of the gateway as a strange clock on a Pegasus building and I attached the upper half of Fogg’s body to a pair of spare legs I had. Now I have a more practical Phileas Fogg in addition to its original configuration.
Once the modification of the CMON figure was complete, I returned to painting Star War figures.

Back to work on my Star Wars figures… most of them are SkullForge Studios this week.
